Volunteer Opportunity!!

We have the opportunity to run both concession booths at Hickory Crawdads this Saturday, 5/26/2012, if I can recruit more volunteers. This is your chance to not only fulfill your volunteer hours for 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 school year, but to also earn sports fees for 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 seasons! You would report to Crawdads stadium at 4:00 PM for the game.

Volunteers Needed Next Week

Volunteers Needed Next Week:  Please call the Firebird Office to 

volunteer as a judge for our Senior Class Graduation Project Night.  

The date for the event is April 19.  The timeframe is 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.  

CHS needs parents to arrive at 3 p.m. to learn how to judge and score the project (no previous experience is required; CHS staff will teach judges how to score everything).  The night will end no later than 7 p.m.  CHS will give four hours to any parent that volunteers.  For this event, only parents that can volunteer for the entire time will be accepted.  This is an easy, fun, and interesting way to earn your volunteer hours!  Please call the Firebird Office at 828-485-2980 to sign-up.  CHS needs at least 30 parents to sign-up to help.
